Go Big Online

There are businesses who solely operate online, those that only operate brick and mortar locations, and there are some that do both. Those who do both are by far more successful than the previous two. When you take the time to establish an online presence, you are able to expose your business to the entire world through a few clicks of the mouse.

To successfully sell products online, you need to:

  1. Offer high-quality products and/or services that people want;
  2. Build an attractive, effective, and user-friendly website;
  3. Generate high-quality traffic at a low cost.

If you are able provide all of the above, you will be well positioned for success with your online exposure.

Bartering with the Best

If you have ever gone to a yard sale and paid the sticker price, you probably need to work on your bartering skills. Everything is negotiable and as such you need to take the time to barter with your suppliers. Companies are always open to negotiation so there is potential for you to save significantly on the things required for your business to operate smoothly.

Giving Away the Farm

This expression is meant to be figurative, not literal. This means that you must be willing to remain in contact with your prospective clients and offer them products and services they are going to need. You may not know exactly what they need until you offer them everything you’ve got and then work with them to provide the perfect package that will fit their individual needs.

If you take the time to put yourself at the front of your prospective customers’ minds, they will be more likely to work with you on an ongoing basis. This can be accomplished by offering potential clients free newsletters, a free consulting session, or any other valuable business tool.
